Q: What position do you expect to have in five years?
Before you answer this question, be careful. Don't answer with
a specific title. You shouldn't say "vice president" or "manager"
of a certain area because that position may not exist.
A better way to respond: "After I am in my position, hopefully
my accomplishments will be recognized and I will be promoted upward
to either a supervisor or management position," if that is your
objective.
Alternative answer: "In five years I expect to be in a position
(careful not to cite a specific title that could already be filled
by an insecure manager) with the following types of responsibilities
…"
